STEM School Finder
Did you know the majority of future jobs will be maths and science based? According to the British Science Council 7.1 million UK jobs will rely on science skills by 2030 – a 1.3 million increase on today’s number. Additionally, there is a £30.4k economic premium associated with studying Maths and a £20.5k economic premium associate with studying Physics, according to Starcount.
Designed for parents, STEM School Finder ranks schools in your area on their ability in ‘STEM’ (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) A Level subjects. So choose a school which could improve the job prospects of your child.
Using analysis of 2016 DfE school performance tables by world leading data scientists Starcount, Your Life’s STEM school rankings are based on the proportion of all A Level grades achieved by a school which are grades A* - B in STEM subjects*. Where schools entered fewer than 5 students into a STEM subject, those grades are suppressed in the publicly available data published by the DfE and therefore those grades do not count towards Starcount’s analysis.
Future Finder

It shows you which jobs are growing and need you. You can see which A Level choices can earn you the most money. It helps you understand how what you learn in the classroom is relevant to the outside world.
